1. Role schedule
The customer is ordinarily the POPIA Responsible Party or GDPR Controller for its tenant information. Opticore Alliance owns and licenses PursuitCore. Digital Unbounded (Pty) Ltd is the OEM Operator for the controlled PursuitCore POC and acts only within its documented operating and hosting authority.
This controlled operating notice describes the PursuitCore model and does not constitute legal advice. Each deployment must be reviewed against its contracts, processing inventory, infrastructure and applicable law.
2. Processing schedule
- Complete subject matter, duration, purpose, data categories, data-subject categories and authorised users per deployment.
- Process only documented instructions unless law requires otherwise.
- Record the source authority, retention rule and correction route for market and customer information.
- Keep Showcase fixtures outside the Pilot and keep each customer tenant within its authorised boundary.
3. Technical and organisational safeguards
- Tenant-scoped access enforcement and forced row-level security.
- Server-side secret management, encryption references, malware controls, backup and recovery.
- Attributable approvals, audit events, source lineage and controlled document outputs.
- Time-bound, customer-approved support grants with no standing customer-content access.
- Plain-language interruption recovery that preserves prior records.
4. Providers and international processing
Hosting, backup, email, monitoring, external analysis and other providers must be declared in the deployment register before activation. A configured mail transport remains subject to the customer's and Operator's provider agreement. Cross-border processing requires an appropriate transfer basis and documented safeguards.
5. Incidents, assistance and termination
The parties must preserve evidence, assess material incidents, support legally required notifications and cooperate with rights requests, impact assessments and audits. On termination, data is returned, retained or deleted only under written authority, contract and law.
